Victoria BC on Vancouver Island, 110 miles North of Seattle, WA and 114 km West of Vancouver, BC

Victoria is the capital city for British Columbia and is located on beautiful Vancouver Island, just off the coast of Vancouver BC. To get to Victoria you have several options to take ferries across the picturesque Georgia Straight from the mainland.

BC Ferries provides hourly service from Tsawwassen BC terminal (just outside Vancouver BC) to Swartz Bay Terminal (just 30 mins North of Victoria). The ferry trip takes 1hr 35mins

Vancouver – Victoria (Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay)

If you want a longer more scenic trip, you can take the BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay terminal, to Nanaimo terminal. The Ferry trip takes about 1hr 40 minutes. You would then have a 2 hour drive down the coast of Vancouver Island to get to Victoria.

West Van – Nanaimo (Horseshoe Bay-Departure Bay)

From Washington State, you can take the Blackball COHO Ferry which sails from Port Angles and docks in downtown Victoria. The sailing time is 1hr 30 mins . You will clear customs in Victoria.

Also from Washington State you can use the Washington State Ferry Service out of Anacortes, which is a 3.0 hour trip landing in Sidney on Vancouver Island, just 25 minutes North of Victoria. You will clear customs in Sidney.
